Lewis has found a place to call home

Lewis Hamilton is set to put pen to paper on a lease for a lakeside flat in the chic Rade district of Geneva within the new few days.

The McLaren driver revealed earlier this week that he is planning on moving to Switzerland to escape the continuous public intrusions into his personal life in Britain.

However, it appears that this is a decision Hamilton made a few months ago as Swiss estate agent Dominique Oberegger revealed he spoke with Hamilton's father Anthony during September's Italian GP.

Oberegger has in fact already shown Lewis and his dad a luxury three bedroom apartment on the shores of Lake Geneva and expects the lease to be signed in the next few days.

"I showed them a beautiful apartment overlooking the lake and harbour in Geneva and Lewis adored it," he told the Daily Mirror.

"I am expecting him back in Switzerland this week to sign the lease."
